Join the Anatomy in Clay Centers for this workshop about the anatomy of the shoulder, and learn about the muscles that support this joint in weight-bearing positions. This is the anatomy that allows us to do push-ups, planks, many yoga and Pilates positions, weight-resistance training, acro- and pole fitness, and more!
The workshop begins with an introduction to anatomy terms and concepts, followed by shaping muscles out of clay, learning the attachment points and relationships between muscles, and applying the clay muscles to realistic skeleton models. Once you have a three-dimensional understanding of this anatomy, participate in a series of guided exercises to identify and activate the muscles within your own body.
